01Functional diagnostics
Battery health, display and touch, cameras, speakers and microphones, sensors, cellular and Wi-Fi, charging and ports.
02Repair and parts, L1 to L4
From module swaps to chip-level BGA work on our own rework stations, by trained technicians, with parts recorded against the device. See the levels ›
03Cosmetic restoration
Cleaning, polishing and housing work that brings a device up to its target grade without hiding real wear.
Factory reset and data erasure
Original factory settings, default software reinstalled, free software updates, previous-owner data wiped.
Second test and grade
Full functional pass again on every unit, then a cosmetic grade. Not a sample: every unit.
IMEI verification
Ownership and blacklist checks at intake so a problem device never enters stock.
L1 to L4 refurbishment, under one roof
Every device is routed to the lowest level that returns it to grade. Nothing is over-repaired, and nothing that needs board work is passed off as a clean-and-test.
L3 and L4 in-house
Board-level and chip-level repair on our own BGA rework stations, not sent out to a third party.
Routed by diagnosis, logged by IMEI
The repair level is set at diagnosis and recorded on the device passport with the parts used.
How we grade
Two things are graded separately: how a phone looks, and whether everything works. A cosmetic grade never hides a functional fault.
Devices with functional faults are sold separately as repair or parts units and are never listed under a cosmetic grade.
